Adelaide 36ers Next Star Trentyn Flowers is the latest young gun to declare for the NBA Draft, announcing the news via his social media channels on Sunday.

Flowers, who made 18 appearances for the 36ers across NBL24, was listed among Yahoo Sports' recent mock draft selections.

He averaged 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds a game this season, quickly becoming a fan favourite in Adelaide.

"I would like to thank the entire community of Adelaide for the unwavering support," Flowers said via X.

"To coach (CJ) Bruton, (Scott) Ninnis and the Adelaide 36ers - thank you for further helping my game and me as a human being.

"I will never forget the time that I spent in Australia and will be forever indebted.

"Growing up as a kid, it has always been a dream of mine to play in the NBA ... with that being said, I will be declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft."

Flowers' declaration follows that of Alex Sarr and Bobi Klintman, who are both fancied to be selected in the first round.

The NBA Draft will be held on June 27.
