Competing against the Phoenix was Rocco Zikarsky and his Brisbane Bullets, who were finally able to achieve their first season win; Zikarsky contributed with 2 points and 6 rebounds in 12 minutes of play, and his offensive rebound and subsequent assist to James Bateman proved to be clutch in the final minutes.

Alex Toohey keeps shining with the Sydney Kings. After a tough loss in Adelaide on Friday, Toohey bounced back at home on Sunday against the Taipans, showing all his offensive arsenal on the way to 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in only 22 minutes on the court. His euro-steps, dunks and blocks made his performance not only effective, but also spectacular.

Izan Almansa celebrated a pivotal away win in Cairns. The Wildcats grabbed a much-needed victory and Almansa was the first man off the bench for Perth; he showed consistency  his at both ends of the floor and contributed with 6 points and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes.

Karim Lopez is back in Auckland after his trip to the United States with the Breakers, and will be back in NBL action in Round 5 this week. After impressing scouts in his first outing against the Jazz, Lopez sat out the two remaining NBLxNBA games due to wrist soreness.
