Top Australian prospect Alex Toohey, a projected second round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, returns for the Sydney Kings in the 2024-25 NBL season.

After deciding not to enter last year’s Draft, Toohey is expected to have a breakout campaign for Sydney and rise up the draft boards this season.

Toohey, a 6-foot-8 forward, developed his game at the NBA Global Academy and participated in the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit prior to joining the NBL Next Stars program in NBL24.

He was MVP of the 2022 U20 Australian Junior Championships and has represented Australia in FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
