Former Next Star Alex Sarr has joined rare company in his first NBA season, becoming just the third rookie to record 100 blocks and 100 three-pointers.
That puts him alongside Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren, no mean feat in an outstanding debut campaign.
Sarr achieved the feat during Washington's home fixture against Philadelphia on Thursday morning, Australian time.
The second overall selection at the 2024 NBA Draft, having lined up with the Perth Wildcats in the season prior, Sarr has averaged 13.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and an impressive 1.5 blocks a game, across 64 appearances.
He had a career-high 34 points against the Denver Nuggets on March 16 and has played a key role for the Wizards in his first season in the NBA.
